Culver City Symphony Orchestra Concludes Season with Chamber Music Concert

New Hollywood String Quartet

The Culver City Symphony Orchestra concludes its 2018-19 Season with a chamber music concert Sunday, May 26, 2019, 3:00PM.

The Orchestra will present a chamber music concert presenting two masterworks in music, the Clarinet Quintets of Mozart and Brahms. The New Hollywood String Quartet will be joined by Clarinetist Joshua Ranz. 

Towards the end of their respective lives Mozart and Brahms met clarinetists whose playing so caught their attention that each composed Quintets for Clarinet and String Quartet. For Mozart it was Anton Stadler, and for Brahms it was Richard Mühlfeld.
